Privacy
This site is built to know as little about you as possible.
What we don't keep
- No IP addresses, browser fingerprints or user agents are stored by the application.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. The only third-party request your browser makes is for map images from basemaps.cartocdn.com, which sees your IP address like any website you load.
- Anonymous reports carry no identifier at all — not even a random browser ID.
What we do keep, and why
- Rate-limit counters. To stop floods of spam we count recent submissions per network address, but only as a keyed hash that changes every day. Counters are deleted after two days and can't be turned back into an address.
- A functional cookie. A random value protects forms against cross-site attacks. It is never linked to reports.
- If you create an account: your e-mail address, a session cookie, the reports you send or claim while signed in, and items you save.
- Locations you choose to attach. “Use my location” is rounded to about 1 km before it leaves your browser's request; pins are kept to about 100 m.
Your hosting provider
Like any website, the server's own access logs may record requests. Those logs are outside this application and are kept according to the host's policy.
Deleting your data
Signed-in users can delete their reports from the account page. To remove an account entirely, contact the operator.
